Heritage of Pride Parade: On June 28th, 2009 AVP unitied with all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) communities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots by marching with us in New York’s Heritage of Pride Parade.

AVP's Annual Pride kick-off party : FUSION 09 was held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at the historic Christopher Street landmark of gay liberation, The Stonewall Inn. This year marked the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, and AVP was honored to celebrate Pride were Pride began. Fusion featured an open bar, snacks and music by DJ Randy Bettis.
