AVP is coming to Housing Works in January to support transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) survivors of Intimate Partner Violence.

An AVP ASSERT facilitator will be leading this Support Group for TGNC survivors of intimate partner violence. ASSERT stands for A Safe Space to Explore Relationships Together and is a group where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and HIV-affected survivors of Intimate Partner Violence create a safe space filled with choice, and share ways to support themselves and each other.

If you are a TGNC survivor of intimate partner violence seeking support, please join us at the dates below:

• January 11th, 3pm to 5pm
• January 18th, 3pm to 5pm
• January 25th, 3pm to 5pm

This month, in support of our friends at the Ali Forney Center, we are asking folks to bring newly packaged hats, gloves, scarves, socks, School Supplies (notebooks, markers, etc), and packaged in exchange for a raffle ticket.

• $10 suggested donation
• 2-4-1 drink specials until 8pm
• Donate $10 or more and receive a special treat
• There will be FAB raffle thought-out the evening for a FABulous prize. Raffle tickets are 1 for $1; 6 for $5; and 15 for $10
