AVP learns of anti-LGBTQ Police Violence Incident in Crown Heights, Brooklyn

AVP has learned of an anti-LGBTQ police violence incident and assault that took place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on Sunday, January 13. According to the New York Daily News, Crown Heights resident Jabbar Campbell stated that police from the 77th precinct entered his home following a noise complaint and assaulted him while using anti-gay slurs.
